How it all connects

  1. Cameras capture the action – AI-tracking PTZ cameras follow the speaker automatically, so you don't need a camera operator.
  2. Audio comes from wireless microphones (or your existing sound desk) into the switcher or camera.
  3. A switcher (Blackmagic ATEM) lets one person cut between cameras and add titles and slides.
  4. Streaming goes straight to YouTube, Facebook or your website from the switcher or camera over your internet connection – no extra computer needed.
  5. Talkback (Hollyland Solidcom) keeps the director and camera operators in contact on bigger productions.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a computer to live stream?
Not with these kits. The Blackmagic ATEM Mini switchers and OBSBOT Tail Air cameras can stream directly to YouTube, Facebook and other platforms over a wired internet connection. A computer is only needed if you want to use streaming software such as OBS.

What internet speed do I need?
For a reliable 1080p stream, plan on a stable upload speed of at least 10 Mbps, ideally over a wired network connection rather than Wi-Fi. A quick speed test at your venue before you buy is a good idea.

Can one person run the whole stream?
Yes. AI-tracking cameras follow the presenter automatically, and an ATEM switcher lets one operator cut between shots with a single button.

Can I connect our existing sound desk?
Usually, yes. ATEM Mini switchers have audio inputs for a feed from your mixer, so the stream gets the same sound as the room.

Can I try before I buy?
We hire out live-streaming and intercom gear, so you can rent a setup for an event first. See our streaming rentals.
